Dexamethasone ni dawa jamii ya corticosteroid yenye uwezo mkubwa wa kufanya kazi kama betamethasone.Matumizi ya dawa hii kipindi cha kwanza cha ujauzito huwa na madhara ya kusababisha mdomo sungura kwa data chache zilizopatikana kwa wamama wanaotumia dawa hii.
