Baada ya miezi minne ya kwanza ya ujauzito, kulalia mgongo kwa muda mrefu kunatakiwa

kuepukwa, hii ni kwa sababu uzito wa mtoto na mfuko wa uzazi hugandamizi mishipa mikubwa

ya damu inayopita chini ya tumbo na hivyo kupunguza kiasi cha damu kinachoenda kwa mtoto

kupitia kondo la nyuma. Kukandamizwa kwa mishipa hii hupunguza usafirishaji wa hewa safi ya
