Introduction

​

Immediately after delivery all babies should be: Kept warm with the mother and initiated on breastfeeding within the first hour, Apply tetracycline eye ointment to both eyes once, Given oral polio and BCG vaccines before discharge home

Neonatal resuscitation should follow the A-B-C sequence of CPR. See flow chart below.
